Upcoming Gold Coast Events Spring 2021
Looking for an excuse to visit the Gold Coast this spring? You’re in luck, as there are five unmissable events to look forward to in September alone.
Start spring with a bang - pack your beachwear and head to the Gold Coast for the following spring events!
Listed events below will be COVID Safe, following all developing QLD Health guidelines.
The Eagles Experience at The Star Gold Coast
Nothing says spring like the mellow sounds of “Hotel California” and The Eagles Experience is coming to The Star in Broadbeach to deliver nothing but the best of the worldwide best-selling rock outfit.
This world-class tribute has it all: the country harmonies, the eargasmic guitar solos, synced lighting and a stage presence to do The Eagles themselves proud. If you’re an Eagles fan, you won't want to miss this one-night-only performance on September 4.
Carrara Markets Classic Car Show
The ultimate Father’s Day treat. At the Carrara Markets, don’t miss a full weekend of classic cars, rock ’n’ roll sounds and car memorabilia to be held on Father’s Day itself.
If your dad’s a certified autophile, this car show will feature Caddys, Chevies, Mustangs, Corvettes and more to see up close. It’s free to attend, so lock in the date now for September 4 and September 5.
Crafted Beer & Cider Festival Gold Coast
Just one week after the Classic Car Show, there’s another big excuse to visit the Gold Coast this September: Crafted Festival Gold Coast.
Returning bigger than ever, Crafted Festival 2021 will take over Kurrawa Park Broadbeach with a mouth-watering selection of over 250 brews from the best brewers in the country. We’re talking IPAs, classic ales, lagers and ciders, plus alcoholic ginger beers and seltzers.
And that’s not all, there will be a full music lineup to enjoy as you sip on your favourite brew (or brews). Just make sure to be in Kurrawa Park on September 11.
SWELL Sculpture Festival 2021
Heard of the SWELL Sculpture Festival? It’s the region’s biggest FREE outdoor art gallery, held on Currumbin Beach (voted one of the Gold Coast’s best beaches).
SWELL Festival decorates Currumbin Beach with a visually stunning display of small and large-scale sculptures, free to check out in addition to guided walks, artist talks and sculpting workshops.
It’ll come for 10 whole days, so mark your calendars now for September 10 to September 19.
Mudgeeraba Show 2021
Last but not least, the famous Mudgeeraba Agricultural Show is set for a big return this September at the huge Mudgeeraba Showground.
Mudgeeraba Show showcases and celebrates agriculture on the Gold Coast, offering market stalls, live entertainment, competitions, animal displays and more. Get your hands on fresh produce, taste local treats and enjoy a full program of hands-on activities and family-friendly entertainment.
Last year’s show was unfortunately cancelled, so it’s one worth looking forward to on the weekend of September 17 to September 19.
