The school holidays are coming around again! If you are looking for a school holiday activity that keeps the kids outside and active, then check out the Cooee Kids programs.

The program is held for children aged between 7 and 11 years of age, each weekday of the school holidays. Each day holds a different focus: nature walks, nature crafts, beach olympics, fun sports and treasure hunts - so the kids could go every day of the week and experience something fun, unique and interesting each day.

Cooee Kids programs are a great way to get the kids outside and into nature, they also aim to help kids develop social skills, build resilience and self-confidence through co-operative play.

*JFC - Japanese Fried Chicken, marinated in ginger, garlic, soy and sake. Served with seven spiced mayonnaise.

2014 Gold Coast Show

If you are going to be on the Gold Coast next weekend (Friday 29th to Sunday 31st of August) why not check out the Gold Coast Show?!

The Gold Coast Show is an annual event that was previously held at Parklands (1989-2013), but this year the event moves home to the Gold Coast Turf Club and Showgrounds.

The move to it's new location is due to Parklands being transformed into the Athlete's Village in time for the 2018 Commonwealth Games that is taking place on the Gold Coast.

With it's new home they are also promising some new innovative entertainment mixed in with the traditional features you'd expect to find such as animals - show bags - carnival rides - art and craft displays - wood chopping - carnival food and fireworks. 

The Gold Coast Show 2014 is on from August 29th to August 31st

2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games

The 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow have now come to a close and we send a huge congratulations to all of the athletes who competed. Thank you for representing Australia!


Here on the Gold Coast we are the proud hosts of the 2018 Commonwealth Games! It's the 5th time that Australia will host the games, but the first time for the Gold Coast! All of the action will be held from the 4-15 April 2018 at various sporting venues across the Gold Coast.
